Working as Senior UX Writer in Mercado Libre, 2019 - 2021

This one deserves a chapter on its own.

In the interview process, someone told me “What you are doing now is called UX Writing” and I feel seen and recognize for all of my freelance gigs on what I called, during that time, “Web design with focus on the narrative”.

In Mercado Libre I learned how to be an impact-driven team player and I spent 2 years learning, exploring and applying a UX Writing practice into the design process. I had the chance to work closely with Product and Dev teams and other business, logistics and legal related areas.

I also learn autonomy, how to make my voice heard, the power of facilitation and how choosing the right words when interacting with stakeholders is as important as choosing the right words for our digital products.

Each quarter I was assigned a backlog that went from 10 to 20 different initiatives. During my lasts months, I was building that backlog with product owners and UX leaders through workshops facilitation.
