Performance mode is the same thing, but disguised as a probability calculator.
Performance mode is a “probability calculator” to calculate the likelihood of an item being at a specific location in a set of items that you define the size of. The spectator can watch you run some numbers. You are going to code to the calculator the position you want the card to end up in and the calculator will code to you the sequence you need to make the card end up at that number.
For you to code the number to the calculator is easy, just think of the number you want and add 11. Just add one to the tens and one to the ones. If you need their card to end up at spot 18, you will type in 29. For 7, you’ll type in 18. For 19, you’ll type 30.
If the number is too big or too small, you will notice the probability number will have a decimal place in it. you can use this to show all kinds of random numbers being calculated, but make sure when you’re performing you know the secret code is engaged when there is NO decimal.
All you need to look at is the last 3 digits. They tell you Top, Middle, and Bottom.
Imagine a list of numbers 0-9: 9 is the top number, 5 is the middle number, and 0 is the bottom number.
Deal the cards into 3 piles and when you collect them, place their packet in the top, middle, or bottom position as the number codes to you.
Repeat the process and look at the next number and use what it has coded to you.
Repeat it one last time, using the last number in the probability to tell you where to place their packet.
