I heard Abba say, "It is time for you to play for an 'audience of one."
Every day we wake up with pressures weighing upon us from all sides. Before us lay choices we must make which will determine our future. Often times as we assess our options, the pressures that weigh upon us can cause us a great deal of anxiety and stress.
"If I do this, then so and so will be upset."
"But if I do that, then this person might not understand."
Friends, the time has come to be delivered from this paralyzing way of thinking. It is time to be catapulted into your destiny. From now on the Lord says,
"You must play for an audience of one."
And this audience is for the Lord!
You cannot serve two masters. God and Money. But the same is true for trying to serve two masters, God and self.
You are facing decisions today which are weighing heavily upon you. You are wrestling with the repercussions of various choices and weighing the effects they will have on those around you. The Lord says to you this,
You need ask only one question and that is: “What do I say?"
Yeshua said it best when he quoted Moses, "You must worship and serve God alone." When we make decisions we reveal who it is we are serving. When we make decisions based upon the Word of the Lord alone, and through our desire to please Him only, though others in our lives may become frustrated or angry, we will have pleased our Father and our path will not only be made straight, it will be blessed.
Friends, we are living in a time when the devil is driving people's decisions through force, fraud and coercion. But the Scripture says we are not "ignorant of his devices." If we live our lives fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit and we live to "play for an audience of one" we will never fall into deception.
So what is the key to living this life?
The key is to learn to 'walk in the fear of Yahweh."
When our hearts burn to please the one who laid down His life for us, when we spend every moment practicing the Presence and living lives of adoration and worship, we cannot be moved by the false narratives and pressures which surround us.
Remember Yeshua said in Luke 14:33 "Any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple."
To renounce all that we have is not merely to renounce our right to our possessions and our material wealth. To renounce all that we have is to reject our need to please anyone but the Lord.
So then today, let us commit to playing for an "Audience of One."
For He alone is worthy of our allegiance.
