I heard the Lord say, "The nail pierced hands and feet of Messiah are the very gates into heaven."
Friends, it Is crucial in this hour we gain a fresh perspective on the necessity of suffering in the life of the Believer. You and I have been called into a divine adventure. But this journey is not meant to be easy or comfortable, but rather it is to be difficult and painful. Why must this be so?
There are many reasons namely, that suffering is what makes us into the image of Messiah. If our deepest prayer is to know his heart, how can we truly grasp its depths if we do not experience what he experienced?
He was despised and rejected, therefore so too must we.
He was hated by those he loved without a cause. So too must we.
He was a man from whom men hid their faces, so too must we.
Friends, Romans 5:3-4 tells us why God allows suffering in our lives. As it is written, "… but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Beloved, Are you suffering today? Are your family and friends rejecting you? Are you being misunderstood by your church? Have you experienced hatred because of your firm commitment to Messiah?
If the answer is yes, I say rejoice! For so too they persecuted the prophets who were before you! Their rejection of you will lead to hope as you experience the peace and presence of Yeshua!
For you and I have a destiny. And that destiny is to be made into the image of Messiah. And the Father is allowing these events into your life to acquaint you with the grief of Messiah that you might rule and reign with Him.
Only those who are crucified with the Lamb can rule with the Lion.
Friend, suffering makes the heart tender. Suffering makes us more compassionate and sympathetic to the plight of the broken.
Suffering is the very refiners fire used to remove our dross, only then will the smith have material for a holy vessel. (Prov 25:4)
We must yield today to Gods painful dealings and if we do we will experience a refreshing from the Spirit.
There is a day coming which will test your faith. You will take up your cross and when you do, out of your mouth will come these words, "Father forgive them they know not what they do."
When this takes place the world will know that Christ in you, truly is the hope of glory! (Col 1:27)
The hour is short. It is time to enter through the narrow gate and into Gods very Presence. And the gates are the very holes in Yeshuas hands and feet.
Enter them today, and whether you are experiencing hatred or love, rejection or acceptance, abundance or need, you will experience peace and shalom as you dwell in His Presence.
