Day 23: Devotional- "Gates of Heaven"

"Gates of Heaven

January 23rd 2024
Hebrews 11:24-25
By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,
choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.
Romans 8:16-17
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
1 Peter 4:12-13
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial that has come upon you, as though something strange were happening to you.
But rejoice that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed at the revelation of His glory.
Zechariah 12:10
“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

I heard the Lord say, "The nail pierced hands and feet of Messiah are the very gates into heaven."

Friends, it Is crucial in this hour we gain a fresh perspective on the necessity of suffering in the life of the Believer. You and I have been called into a divine adventure. But this journey is not meant to be easy or comfortable, but rather it is to be difficult and painful. Why must this be so?
There are many reasons namely, that suffering is what makes us into the image of Messiah. If our deepest prayer is to know his heart, how can we truly grasp its depths if we do not experience what he experienced?
He was despised and rejected, therefore so too must we.
He was hated by those he loved without a cause. So too must we.
He was a man from whom men hid their faces, so too must we.
Friends, Romans 5:3-4 tells us why God allows suffering in our lives. As it is written, "
… but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,
and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Beloved, Are you suffering today? Are your family and friends rejecting you? Are you being misunderstood by your church? Have you experienced hatred because of your firm commitment to Messiah?
If the answer is yes, I say rejoice! For so too they persecuted the prophets who were before you! Their rejection of you will lead to hope as you experience the peace and presence of Yeshua!
For you and I have a destiny. And that destiny is to be made into the image of Messiah. And the Father is allowing these events into your life to acquaint you with the grief of Messiah that you might rule and reign with Him.
Only those who are crucified with the Lamb can rule with the Lion.
Friend, suffering makes the heart tender. Suffering makes us more compassionate and sympathetic to the plight of the broken.
Suffering is the very refiners fire used to remove our dross, only then will the smith have material for a holy vessel. (Prov 25:4)
We must yield today to Gods painful dealings and if we do we will experience a refreshing from the Spirit.
There is a day coming which will test your faith. You will take up your cross and when you do, out of your mouth will come these words, "Father forgive them they know not what they do."
When this takes place the world will know that Christ in you, truly is the hope of glory! (Col 1:27)
The hour is short. It is time to enter through the narrow gate and into Gods very Presence. And the gates are the very holes in Yeshuas hands and feet.
Enter them today, and whether you are experiencing hatred or love, rejection or acceptance, abundance or need, you will experience peace and shalom as you dwell in His Presence.

prayer

Our Prayer

Father, we receive a fresh revelation on the necessity of suffering. Though our flesh desires ease, we choose the pathway of suffering. We desire to be more like Messiah than to live a comfortable life. Take away any remaining worldliness within us. Crucify our flesh and its desire to for the approval of men. Let us walk into the fire with Messiah and trust that the "fourth one" will appear in the flames. You are completing a great work in the earth. We are meant to be your masterpiece Father. Mold and shape us through suffering that we might know the depths of your love for us. Prepare us to pour ourselves out for even our enemies, just as Yeshua did. We do not simply want to preach the Gospel, but we want to demonstrate it. Right now, we release those who have caused us to suffer. We declare, "Father forgive them they know not what they do." We bless you for giving us this wonderful gift. We do not take this precious freedom for granted. We honor you today and your suffering. For if you hadn't chosen this bitter cup, we would not be standing here in newness of life. We love you Messiah. Amen.

A Word from Our Father

My child, I am the God of those who suffer. I sent my Son to enter into suffering so that He could be made perfect and become a testimony to my power and love. The church has largely rejected this call to suffer. It must not be so with you. They have exchanged friendship with me for friendship with the world. They have chosen comfort over obedience. And they will reap the bitter fruit. But you have chosen differently. Because you have stood with me in my hour of suffering, I promise to stand with you in yours. Remember this, if you truly seek my face men and women will hide from yours. Though this is painful, it is a confirmation of their destruction and your salvation. Beloved, the holes in the hands and feet of Messiah are open doors into My Presence. They are the doors to the end times Ark. Only those who enter by them will be kept in the Coming Storm. Enter now and you will not only find salvation, but you will find that there are endless depths of treasure and riches for which no earthly treasure could compare. The door is open my child. Come on in! I have spoken.
