Day 22: Devotional- "The Coming of Elijah"

"The Coming of Elijah

January 22nd 2024
Malachi 4:5
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes.
Matthew 11:7-15
As they went away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?
What then did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Behold, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses.
What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
This is he of whom it is written,
“‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face,
who will prepare your way before you.’
Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence,
and the violent take it by force.
For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John,
and if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Ecclesiastes 1:9
What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.

megaphone

I heard the Lord say, "the Benjamin company has been anointed with the Spirit of Elijah to prepare the way for the Lords Second Coming."

Friends, the Second Coming of the Lord is at hand.
There is a tidal wave of revival coming which will cover the earth. Some men's hearts will fail for fear of what is coming on the earth. Others will rejoice as they see the fulfillment of Joel 2:28 take place around the world. As it is written, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
The time of this great Last Days outpouring is at hand. And you have been chosen to be a carrier of this revival.
At the Yeshua's First Coming, John the Baptist came as the messenger of the Lord to prepare the way for Messiah to enter Jerusalem. At His Second Coming, an Elijah company will rise up and prepare the way for Messiah to enter the hearts of those who long for His appearing.
Friend, you are chosen to be part of this Elijah company.
The Scripture says in James 5:17, "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth."
Elijah was a man who walked in the power of the Lord. The same Spirit he walked in was the same spirit operating in John the Baptist when he declared "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
Friends, I declare to you the same words today, "Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is near. Make straight the way of the Lord!"
Yeshua is coming back soon.
And we must not only declare this words to a sleeping and rebellious church, but we must first let these words ring true in our own hearts.
Yeshua is not coming to live in a house made with human hands. He is coming to live inside of you and me. Therefore, before He comes in His fullness, the Spirit of Elijah must come in power and make straight paths for the Kings Return.
It is time for us to remove all forms of bitterness, unforgiveness, malice, the love of money and every other defilement of the flesh. Imagine the King is coming to your home and each of these are boulders sitting on the road to your home.
It is time for these boulders to be destroyed by the blood of the Messiah!
The Coming of Elijah is at hand. The Kings return is at the very door. Another wilderness season is coming. It is here where the Father will gather His people, assembling them for the final revival in the earth.
This is the call of the "Benjamin Company" to be the Firstfruits of the Final Harvest. To follow the model of John the Baptist and to prepare the way for the Lord!
Many are called, few are chosen. And you are the chosen!
The Lords says this day, “The Spirit of Elijah is here! Prepare, prepare, prepare!”

prayer

Our Prayer

Father, we praise you for this revelation of the Coming of Elijah. We give you permission to send the Spirit of Elijah into our hearts NOW, to make straight paths for the Lord. Remove every obstruction which would hinder the fullness of Messiah from reigning in the Jerusalem of the Heart. Make us the voices, crying in the wilderness, make straight the way of the Lord. We hear your call Father. We perceive this amazing revelation regarding your second coming. Prepare us to receive the King of Glory in His fullness. Let us cry out as John the Baptist did, "I must decrease, but He must increase." We want none of us and ALL of Messiah. We yield to the Spirit of Elijah. Strengthen us to fulfill this divine calling. For the glory of Yeshua. Amen.

A Word from Our Father

My child, I am the God of Elijah and I declare to you this day Elijah is already in your midst. Let His Spirit flood you with revelation and power. Let His presence bring deep conviction. Let His presence prepare the way in your hearts for the return of my Son. I chose to place Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration for a purpose. Elijah was present to see the Transfiguration of my Son. And you will live to see the Transformation of many Sons, into the image of my Firstborn Son. You have been chosen to prepare the way for the Lord in the earth. I ask you not to build earthly highways, but rather highways of holiness into the hearts of my people. Teach them to obey all that Ive commanded. Teach them how to live in a continual state of repentance and faith. Teach them why they should long for my coming. If you are willing to accept it, you are part of the Elijah company that is to come. I have spoken.
