"Time to Rule and Reign”

Isaiah 9:6-7

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon

his shoulder,

and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore.

The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

Matthew 19:27-28

27Then Peter blurted out, “Here we are. We’ve given up everything to follow you. What reward will there be for us?”

28Jesus responded, “Listen to the truth: In the age of the restoration of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will have twelve thrones of your own, and you will govern the twelve tribes of Israel.

Revelation 3:21

21And to the one who conquers I will give the privilege of sitting with me on my throne, just as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

The Lord says, "It is time for you to begin to rule and reign with me."

Our Father is a Warrior King!

And he has invited us to join Him as He restores creation to its intended design. But the way in which He takes back creation is counter to human wisdom. He does not take back creation through force, but through surrender.

God Himself laid His life down through the giving of His Son Yeshua to die on the cross. God Himself came as a Lamb led to the slaughter. In our human understanding, how could this ever lead to God recapturing His creation?

1 Corinthians 1:25 says, For the “foolish” things of God have proven to be wiser than human wisdom. And the “feeble” things of God have proven to be far more powerful than any human ability. (TPT)

Friends, we must begin to see with Gods eyes. He could not give a Kingdom to a people with an unregenerate heart. He had to first come to deal with the heart issue inside of His people which came as a result of the fall. Only then would they be equipped to rule and reign with Him.

The Lamb had to precede the Lion.

The Suffering Servant before the Conquering King.

The Lord is saying to you today, "If you become as a lamb led to the slaughter, if you allow yourself to be crucified with Christ, then you will be entrusted with the privilege to rule and reign with me."

We are being prepared to rule over a Kingdom, and the time to begin to rule and reign has begun.

In Isaiah 9, the Scripture declares that the Government rests upon "His" shoulders. This speaks of our Messiah Yeshua. And we know Colossians 1:27 says, "Yeshua IN US" is the "hope of glory." So then we can discern that the government is now resting upon His shoulders within us!

Friends, acquainting ourselves with the grief of the Lamb, gives us the tender heart to rule and reign rightly, based upon the weightier matters of the Law, justice, mercy, and faithfulness. Let God have His way to prepare you for this high calling.

Surrender to the Warrior King and He will teach you how to rule and reign with Him.

The time to begin to reign has come!

Our Prayer

Father, your kindness is overwhelming. That you would take each of us in all our imperfections, and give us an opportunity to rule and reign with you is stunning. Father, we honor you. Teach us to rule and reign with you with great mercy, You have forgiven us so much, teach us how to forgive. You have spoken truth at great cost, teach us to do the same. You revealed yourself as King with a "crown of thorns." We choose to wear the same. We will not exalt ourselves, but become more lowly even as our calling to rule increases. You are worthy Oh King of Glory. We yield our spirits unto you. Give us a cool spirit. Teach us to be unshakable amidst shaking. Make us overcomers by the blood of your Son. We sit now at your feet and await further instructions on how to steward the laws and statues of your Kingdom. We bless you Father for you are a Wonderful and Good King.

A Word from Our Father

My child, the time for you to rule and reign with me has begun. Though you haven't yet experienced the fullness, you will begin to experience your kingship in greater measure. Because you have been willing to suffer with me, you will be glorified with me. The hour is late. The Lamb has been sent and your people have either utterly rejected him or denied him by their actions. Your call now as my ambassador is to point people to the Lamb once more, before the Lion appears. Your calling is a high calling. Before you take your seat judging the 12 tribes of Israel, you must learn to rule and reign over your own heart and spirit. My word says in Proverbs 16:32, Do you want to be a mighty warrior? It’s better to be known as one who is patient and slow to anger. Do you want to conquer a city? Rule over your temper before you attempt to rule a city." This is your call. Learn to rule over your own spirit, and your sphere of influence will expand. I have spoken.
