Best Tech Practices - Operations

All the below with the exception of Adobe Acrobat Pro should be installed on your laptop upon onboarding. If you find that you do not have any of these installed properly, please start up a ticket and reach out to Valiant for install.

Google Workspace

Firebird uses Google Workspace for the following:
Email
If needing a shared mailbox, please check with The Ops Team to help coordinate with Valiant on creating. Ensure you have the list of users that need access to this mailbox
Calendar
The Firebird Calendar is a shared calendar. If you have any edits or adjustments that need to be made, please reach out to The Ops Team (ie PTO adjustments)
Drive
For security purposes, please note to minimize sharing of folders to external parties. If necessary, please give The Ops Team a heads up for specific access as they need to grant access
Personal Cloud Storage
Chrome
The preferred browser to easily integrate with our Google Workspace and other extensions. Download and install

Airtable

A spreadsheet - database hybrid, great for automating workflows, content management, project tracking and low code app building

Zoom Pro

Did you know that full time employees have access to the following via Zoom Pro?

Whiteboard - Similar to Miro

Slack

Easy to use collaboration tool for internal teams - used for messaging, calls, file-sharing and integration with other apps

1Password Desktop App

Securely generate and store all your passwords in an encrypted vault. If this isn’t installed on your computer and you would like to use it, please notify The Ops Team to grant you access!

PDF Editing or Creative Cloud

Adobe Acrobat - Used for PDF editing/signatures
Adobe Creative Cloud - Used for robust design work (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
