Koii【Enzo hand written verison】

What is Koii?

The Koii tracks attention on the decentralized internet to reward valuable content

Painpoint

No Payment

Centralized social media apps aggregate content without paying the creators【Is that true?】

No Privacy

Platforms sell data, post own ads.

Web 3.0 is not for creators now

Now web 3.0 is driven by bullish token speculation, not economic fundamentals.

How it works?

Robust incentivesand and a scalable consensus

Earning

Deploying tasks
Running a node
Producing
Registering content on the Network

Scalable Consensus

Proof of Real Traffic (image)

Proof of Real Traffic (text)

Goals:
Remove spam & non-human
No conspiracy between Gateway owners and content creators
Fake traffic by content creators
Current solution: Unable to track traffic in a reliable or consistent manner.
Koii’s solution: To avoid fake traffic, add a header with hash of requester’s IP address, URL and other data. Nodes fetch the traffic logs with the requester’s data.【need more details】

Koii-X

Build scalable L2 Dapp using Koii Nodes through arweave’s storage network.
Koii provides this scalability by building exible side chains (“bundles”) on top of the Arweave permaweb.
Feeless interaction for Nodes and increases interoperability, which allows Koii to track and verify traffic (“attention”) across content gateways
Koii Network scales independently of transaction speed

Running a Node

Node stake tokens to participate in consensus activities (Voting, slashing, and bunlding), they are rewarded by completing tasks.

Task?

Koii Tasks include four main steps:
Fetchingraw data
Creating attestations
Permanently storing that data
Updating Arweave’s state tomatch

Tokenomics

Intro

1,000 KOII are minted daily
Awarded proportionally to owners based on #views relative to the ecosystem

Distribution

Creators & dApp’s dev need to registor their content to begin tracking
Then Koii nodes track the traffic in 24-hour by verifying each Bundler’s record
Then 1000 Koii are distributed in proportion to the veried attention scores
image.png

Staking and Rewards

Rewards are distributed proportionately to each Node’s voting power, which encourages participants to stake as much as possible
Provide up to 1,000,000 KOII each year to new projects as task credits.
Every participant must stake in order to vote, Longer stake, larger vote【How to balance the amount & time】?
Good behavior = Future KOII-earning vote

Bridging Blockchains

Koii uses the Arweave as data store. As an example, Arweave-based NFTs can be traded simply on other decentralized exchanges
Koii also wanna incorporating additional decentralized storage networks like Avalanche, and Hyperledger private blockchains

Community Development【lack】

Well they just said Koii is lowering the barrier of making dApps.

Token Functions

Spend to mint, which stores it permanently on the Arweave
Request task
Reward Node-runners
Reward content creators who registered their content & earned attention rewards
Stake while running a node, to ensure security & priority
Participate in governance, voting

Prototype & Future Growth

Koi.Rocks: NFT

Koi.rocks permanently archives each NFT and rewards creators based on the traffic

Storecat

StoreCat (getstorecat.com) uses Koii “Tasks” to run decentralized web scraping while simultaneously mapping the web

Security

L2 by Proof of Stake(?)

Network Hijack

Because the data created by the PoS process is stored on-chain on the Arweave Permaweb, a true 51% attack (full or partial network rewrite) is not possible without compromising the entire Arweave, which is implements a Proof of Access (PoA) algorithm and has never been successfully attacked in years since it was released.【well, is this god damn safe?】

Ecosystem

Koii Network, but also to build governance structures for the communities that are built on top of it

Governance

The longer a token holder stakes, the larger their voting power.
