Jakob is a bubbly new recruit of the Church of the Great. He’s doing their mandatory evangelical service, and chose to enter the Holy Guard like his father before him, and his father him. But he wants to be free of the military, and pursue a more artistic path.

Intentions

This character is inspired by the papal Swiss Guard, and is meant to be a bright eyed kid in a brutal world, working for a Church he doesn’t fully understand but trusts with their life.

This inexperience and bright outlook on the world is reflected by his Heart and Will values, along with low Finesse.

This “newbie” role of the character is balanced by great starting equipment, the Halberd and Medium Armor.

Intentions

This character is more experienced, recognized by their peers as a great archer and protector. They define themself by their role in their clan, and convinced themself to forgo friendships and the simple joys of life.

High Finesse along with average Brawn, makes them a terrifying opponent, especially with their ability to stalk their enemies undetected from the treetops.

Intentions

Valerie is a higher level character, who is not focused on combat. As such, she has high Brain and Heart Stats, and her past as a jester cartwheeling around is represented by a high Finesse Stat and the Acrobatics Skill. This character is meant to be the face of the party, and they will use their words long before thinking of the sword.
