Where will you be volunteering and what will you do?

Egyesek Youth Center in Szécsény

Supporting the renovation work of the house (deconstracting old walls, building a new wall in the garden and a path to the park, painting etc.)

Cleaning the house and designing the garden, creating outdoor furnitures

Promoting the youth center in order to reach more local people

We are going to be working in different working groups under the supervision of professionals and one home team also would take care of the needs of the volunteers (cooking and cleaning)

No specific experience is required for this work, your work will be both lighter and heavier physical work, so feasible for girls and boys equally

There will be an initial discussion to decide which activities will be carried out by the different groups.

How to prepare?

Join a preparation call to meet fellow volunteers and any questions you may have before the travel. It will be on the 5th of August at 5-6 pm in CET (Budapest time) on Google Meets. Video call link:

What else will happen?

There will be safe sharing spaces and reflection groups during the program to support your emotional well-being and learning

We will suggest opportunities for the free time and help in anything you need!
