About the Project

Join the Egyesek team in our Budapest office for an ESC volunteering project!

Our ESC project focuses on youth-oriented communication and digital storytelling.

Volunteers will support campaigns, create content, and help bring our projects closer to Hungarian and international youth alike.

This year, we are particularly expanding our reach to Hungarian-speaking young people, while still fostering a diverse, international team in Budapest.

As a communication volunteer, you will join a dynamic team responsible for producing digital content, managing social media channels, and supporting campaigns that highlight our activities and projects.

The communication team consists of two team leaders, a volunteer, and occasionally interns, ensuring a collaborative environment while allowing independence and creative input.

Start date is from August 2026 and the project lasts for 10 months.

As an ESC volunteer you will receive the standard support provided by the programme:

Accommodation provided by the project

Monthly pocket money and food allowance

Health insurance through the ESC programme

Travel reimbursement according to ESC rules

2 days of leave per month in addition to weekends

Office laptop if needed

What support will you receive?

Professional guidance – A communication professional from the team will support your daily work and introduce you to the communication practices used at Egyesek.

Mentoring – You will have a mentor who helps you reflect on your learning goals and personal development. Meetings usually take place once a month.

Project coordination – Our project coordinator supports you with all practical matters such as travel, administration, and the smooth running of your volunteering period.

Learn more and apply to, if interested:

Create and execute marketing strategies to promote Egyesek's training and volunteering projects, and find participants/volunteers for upcoming events.

Ideate, create, and post content on Egyesek's different social media platforms to promote youth work and volunteering, reach a wider youth audience, and increase brand awareness.

Participate once a month (2-3 days) in our youth work in Szécsény or on a training in Hollókő, where you can create content about the project (photos, videos, interviews, etc.)

Create from these matterials cool content and videos on our media platforms (website, youtube, etc).
