Our team has worked in gaming, procedural audio, and visual art for decades and has produced work seen in museums and festivals across the globe. Now, we are bringing a community of players and makers in the Metaverse, to create together a new form of media.

Edo Fouilloux (CH/DK) Co-founder, CEO
Edo unites the studio’s inventive tech and creative visions with our playful team spirit. A collective player at heart, with a data-oriented mindset, Edo is uniquely skilled to bring together emotion, innovation, and business. Edo has been a navy engineer, an American football and martial arts athlete, a computer scientist, an artist, and a serial entrepreneur. He started four companies and built teams from scratch in sectors across services and products. Since 2015, he has helped ship more than five xR products, taking roles of consultant, R&D, programming, art, and direction. For his previous project MUX, a VR musical application, Edo developed the core philosophy and back-end structure of what is today’s PatchXR engine.

Mélodie Mousset (FR/CH) Co-founder, Visual Art and Communications Director
Melodie is a multi-award-winning contemporary artist, a pioneer in the field of mixed reality, a lecturer, and an entrepreneur. She has been running her own artistic business since she was 18, working in almost every creative field, including fashion, advertisement, graphic design, short and full-length film direction, sculpture, photography, and performance art. With over 200 exhibitions worldwide, Melodie knows what it takes to give birth to an idea, build it, and promote it publicly on a global scale. At PatchXR, Melodie leverages her international cultural network and eloquence to handle our marketing and communications, corresponding with partners, stakeholders, and investors. A self-reinvention evangelist and guru of immersive experiences, Melodie likes to go surfing and has a similar eye for catching the biggest, toughest creative waves. She brings a strong free-spirited character to our company culture that is both provocative and holistic, keeping our products unique, playful, powerful, accessible, and inspiring.

Nicholas Borkowski (DK) Operations Manager
Nick oversees daily operations and production pipelines. He brings three years of experience as a pipeline technical director for a visual effects company, designing the way 50+ artists and engineers worked together across different countries to ship multimillion-EUR movie productions. Nick holds a master’s degree in computer graphics from Aalborg University, Denmark and has 10+ years of experience as a programmer and game developer, giving him depth in understanding the technical, artistic, and practical requirements of PatchXR.
Nick joined the team in 2020.

Victor Beaupuy (FR) Lead Technical Art
Victor is responsible for developing astonishing interactive visuals that control deep elements of our engine. Victor started learning 3D design and coding at the age of 14, and has relentlessly pursued personal projects in game development, 3D art, and shader and gameplay coding. 17 years later, his versatile and hybrid mind combines low-level logic and expressive skills that have enabled his key contributions to PatchXR projects’ codebase and look and feel. He’s also a musician, connecting him to our user base and use cases. Victor joined on Melodie’s project HanaHana in 2019, and has been rocking with us ever since.

Aleksey Sarapulov (RUS) Lead Engine Architect
Aleksey leads the low-level architecture of the Patch engine. He holds a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering and spent the first four years of his career programming real-time operating systems for space rockets. Five years ago, he decided to move to games, his true passion. He loves to apply his engineering background to solving tough technical challenges and joined the PatchXR team in 2020.

Marta Stražičić (HR) Simulation Artist
Marta aka Pirate Sheep is a Croatia-based Houdini technical artist focused on real-time and procedural graphics. She finished her master’s degree in new media and animation cum laude at the Academy of Fine Arts, Zagreb and completed her studies with a professional course for Houdini and simulation for film and games in Viborg, Denmark. After over six years of experience working passionately in VR/AR content for various clients, musicians, artists, and fashion designers, Marta became an indispensable part of the PatchXR team in 2021.

Pelle Juul (DK) DSP & Sound Engine Architect
Pelle is in charge of keeping the audio engine smooth and reliable. He is an audio programmer with 8+ years of professional experience and a background in computer science and music technology. He holds a master's degree from Aalborg University in Sound and Music Computing and has exhibited his work at the National Museum of Denmark. A composer and producer with multiple releases of original electronic music, he also founded , a small company dedicated to creating inspiring audio plugins. He joined the team in 2021.

Tom Frackowiak (DE) Generalist Artist
Tom focuses on visual quality and user experience of PatchWorld. He started his career in advertisement, produces UX design and motion graphics, then since 2016 has applied this knowledge to programing and designing VR environments. In 2018, he started working on HanaHana and has been working with the PatchXR team ever since.


Consultants

Jacopo Gabriele Derba and Francesco Mogliotti (IT) Financial/Business
Jacopo and Francesco both hold their MSc and BSc degrees from Bocconi University. After working as consultants for international consulting and financial firms, they are now strategy and finance advisors for startups. They work on multiple innovative companies with founders in order to help them scale.
Peter Kirn (DE) Documentation/copywriting and community
Peter is a composer, curator, writer, and music technologist. A leading writer and consultant in music technology, he is creator of the daily site CDM.link and has worked with such diverse partners as CTM Festival, MUTEK Festival, The New York Times, Rockstar Games, TED, and the European Space Agency in exploring expressive technology. He joined the team in 2020.
Daniel F. Wehleit (SP) Senior Web Designer/ Developer
Daniel shapes our image on the web. He has 20+ years in editorial design, full-stack web development, media production, and licensing. He has worked for clients Beats by Dre, Universal Music, Daily Express, Coca-Cola, Devolver Digital, Nexo, NEM, Digix, and A MAZE, to name a few.
