3 ways to shallow:
Wrists
Rock - preferred
Early Extension
Early extenders
Can’t touch toes - 98% correlation - body doesn’t like to hinge at hips
Difficulty squatting
Fixers
Get closer to ball - setup so close that you have to make space to NOT shank it. Falling back is OK as you drill this into body.
Surf the line from your trail foot big toe to the lead foot heel.
Jump in golf
Squat arms go up
Jump arms go down
Legs happen before arms
Lead leg jump twice as hard as trailing leg
Push from ball of lead foot, like the jump, not the heel
Exercises
Touch toes - toes elevated
Touch toes - heels elevated
Grab toes - elevate hips
