City of Grindelwald, Switzerland

The Grindelwald Terminal on the Jungfrau Railway is conveniently located near the charming town of the same name. The highest peak in Europe, the Jungfraujoch, is located here, and as the first natural heritage site of the Alpine area, it has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
For a taste of that cinematic beauty, take the Jungfrau Railway's new Eiger Express tricable gondola 45 minutes from the station to the Eiger Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps, where snow falls year-round and from which you can see all the way to France, Germany, and Italy. Mountain biking or hiking can be done to adjacent waterfalls and alpine lakes, with the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains as a backdrop. Hang out in the sacred mountain air at the Romantik Hotel Schweizerhof, Bergwelt Grindelwald, or Hotel Belvedere.
