Associated Builders and Contractors
Associated Builders and Contractors' humble history started with seven contractors meeting in a Baltimore living room in 1950 to discuss the shared belief that construction contracts should be awarded on merit to the most qualified, lowest-priced responsible bidder.
ABC's activities include government representation, legal advocacy, education, workforce development, communications, technology, recognition through national and chapter awards programs, employee benefits, information on best practices, and business development through an online contractor search directory.
The North Florida Chapter was chartered in 1985. Today we have offices in Tallahassee and Pensacola, serving the Florida Panhandle counties of Bay, Calhoun, Columbia, Dixie, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Hamilton, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Suwannee, Taylor, Wakulla, Walton, and Washington.
