Parents who don’t live with their children can look at the information pages for help and support and find information about other charities that will be able to help them. This service is really busy so you may be on hold for a while but be patient the call is free so it will not cost you anything while you are waiting. Calls will usually take about 20 minutes. It is a good idea to write down what you want to talk about and have a pen and some paper ready for if you want to make some notes during the call.If English is not your first language then the person on the helpline will take your details and you will get a call back from someone who can speak your language. When you get a call it will be from a withheld number so no one will know who has been calling you.
