The desktop view has two sides whereas mobile and tablet are is vertical. Within Desktop view the Left will be for defining the filtering and search criteria and the right side is for viewing the results

Search by organisation name
Close the Service Search window (by clicking the little arrow on the right-hand side –
as shown below)

Then open the Organisation Search window (by clicking the relevant arrow on the right-hand side -
) and enter the name of an organisation into the “search for organisations” box. Click on “organisation details” and you can then ether read a short summary of each service (clicking the little arrow to the left of the service name) or click service details service and read all of the information for that service.

This allows you to either search for physical venues or to search for online and mobile phone app type services. Type in the name of a venue or a type of service (telephone, online or mobile phone app) into the window

As above read the summary for each service or read the service details.

Search by Service
This search allows you to search by a range of approaches. There are some examples below to aid understanding and familiarisation with Service Search.

Search by postcode
Enter a postcode and the distance that you want to search within, then click search – on the right-hand side of the screen

You can filter this list if you want by entering a keyword into the “insert text” window to the left of the search button
Click clear data and clear results – above and below the search button before trying another search
Search by age
Brings back services eligible for that age group.
Search by pathway
This pre-selects some of the potential service types and circumstances.
Search by questions and answers
Either what people might be struggling with or what they enjoy – and again this can be further filtered by age, postcode and keywords
Search by Service type
Start to type into the “type something” box and this will give you some matching service types. Choose the one that you want by clicking it. You must then click the + to the right to add this as a search option.
Search by circumstance
This is very similar to searching by service type, but different language.
Search by availability
This allows a search to be run based upon when in the week someone has availability. You can only enter one time – be that Monday morning or Tuesday afternoon etc. You must click “add day”. The availability can also be used as another filter on all of the above searches.

This allows you to either search with filters added into the search tag box and/or to use keywords, refine your results.

Favourites
Within the service header you can select the star icon which adds this service to the Favourite panel, so that you can create a refined list of services, and share these via email of URL link (note, favourite services are only held for the duration of your browser session. Currently you can not save the favourite other than sharing the links)

Favourite Tag List
You have the ability to save the current search filters within your browser session by selecting the star icon. This then adds the search history “tags” to Favourite Tags List panel.

Service Details
Clicking “Service Details” on the Service Header will show pop up summary of the service that include the following:
Translation - Ability to view the service that has been translated into a language, alternative text or simplified. You can request the service details to translated
Print - Ability to print the full service details
Associated terms - View the term that are associated to the service (shown below - Type of Service)
Eligibility - Any eligibility criteria that has been set against the service
Contact - Basic contact details
Description - Service Description
Session and Times - All session associated with the service. Each sessions, has opening times, valid to and from dates and can be held at different locations.

Clicking on “View full details” will open the full service information including the sessions and map location. You have the ability to go back by selection the “←” arrow next to the Service Title
