SC: Office - Office Management Suite

Overview:

To be used as an internal tool initially, the idea was conceptualized after we were tasked with looking for alternatives to our existing SysOps and found no solutions online that had a holistic approach to our problems.
The concept of the application is similar to or wherein a user downloads a web browser application that supports a variety of user applications supported for workplace use.
The application also supports a plethora of features with respect to office management such as a built-in time tracking tool, a project management tool, a resource scheduler, an OKR tool, a human resource information system, and a profitability tracking tool among other things.

Roles:

Gathered stakeholder requirements and defined the project scope.
Participated in several brainstorming sessions from ideation to product conceptualization.
Created a lean business canvas in order to align business goals with project outcomes using Miro.
Recorded user stories and refined them through peer reviews.
Added timelines for meeting recordings to better analyze the project requirements.
Created a competitive analysis matrix to better understand our competitors’ advantages and flaws.
Performed market research in order to look for an alternative to our existing SysOps solutions.
Sketched paper wireframes for a time-tracking-based application.
Built a high-fidelity mockup for the time-tracking-based application on Figma.

Process:

We began with the requirements gathering phase by conducting several stakeholder interviews to better understand the existing issues and pain points.
The project was spearheaded by a product manager who worked along with me in several brainstorming sessions and competitive analyses.
I was tasked with building a lean business canvas which can be seen below.
Note: The Cost Structure was intentionally left blank due to its highly variable nature and was calculated and compared at a later stage in the process.
After this, we began working on recording user stories using MoSCoW and Kano prioritization techniques.
After reviewing and thoroughly testing several competitor products, we finally began paper sketching. I specifically worked on the time tracking application. You can see some of my sketches below:

After this, we headed onto Figma to begin designing the wireframes and you can see some of my mockups below:

Note: Even though I had paper sketched an application along with a dropdown menu, I was asked to only design the mockup for the application screen.

Current Status:

The design is currently being reviewed and a decision is being made by the company stakeholders to either move forward or look for multiple alternative solutions.
