image

Overview:

HC Inbox is a one-stop solution of CRM cum shared social inbox to organize all client communication and client details in one place. It involves the following features-
The CRM is equipped with multiple views of leads and task lists.
All views are related to one another by having a parent-child-sibling relationship.
Multiple access levels for better categorization.
A shared social inbox that lets the team connect different channels of communication and access a single inbox to have a shared understanding of client communications.
Ability to assign dedicated team members to each client to have a smooth communication channel.
Create task lists for individuals as well as teams.

This project was led by a product manager who I worked with along with another UX designer and two UI designers.

Roles:

Gathered stakeholder requirements and project scope.
Created several user flows for different epics.
Recorded lightning demos to help better explain several implemented features.
Designed high-fidelity mockups using the Layers design system.
Built interactive prototypes for several user flows using the Layers design system.
Redesigned high-fidelity mockups using the Ant design system.
Rebuilt interactive prototypes for several user flows using the Ant design system.
Created several Figma components and maintained documentation on Figma.
Coordinated with the engineering team to provide deliverables smoothly.
Wrote user stories for the product onboarding and created the entire onboarding flow.

Process:

Stakeholder & User Interviews
Deep diving into the problem statement to find out exact feature requirements from people in the existing industry who are heavy users of B2B CRM platforms. Multiple rounds of back and forth were done to validate our findings.
Cognitive Walkthrough
Evaluation method in which people work through a set of representative tasks and answer questions about the task as they go. Used in various stages of the process to get quick, early, and frequent feedback on whether a design concept was easy to understand for new and infrequent users.
Task Flow Analysis
Step-by-step analysis of how a user will interact with the design in order to reach a goal. The results were documented in a diagram that traces a user’s possible paths through a sequence of tasks and decisions in pursuit of their goal. This helped us pinpoint areas of interest, risk, or potential frustration for Users.
Design Sprint
Multiple 4-day processes where the team designs a solution to solve a challenge, create a prototype of it, and tests it on users. The primary focus of the sprint was to produce a high-fidelity interactive prototype of a certain problem being attacked, tested by real users, and with clear insights on where to go next.
