Adam
It was our very first product launch with go-to-market efforts since the merger.
It was Emma’s first launch as a product marketing manager, in her first month on the job.
Emma was able to make decisions quickly and decisively, at times in a bit of a vacuum
Met our deadlines for delivery of the product
Beta group went well; gave access to it for a shortish period of time
Product → Engineering worked well together on this one. Tasha developed great prototypes for engineers to develop from, product developed a good PRD for engineers to leverage, regular status updates progress check-ins.
No bugs in production.
We
Would like to have a longer beta period next time, to gather more feedback from customers and make more adjustments to the product before it launches formally
We need tighter communication between product marketing, demand generation, and brand marketing. It seems like we missed some opportunities to leverage each other’s expertise (ABA relationships, trade orgs and publications that we could have leveraged for earned media exposure, demand gen strategies, etc) due to a lack of communication.
The webinar got planned too late in the game and we scrambled last minute to organize the details.
We need to be better prepared from a positioning/messaging perspective before launch tactics are set to begin.

Product: Adam scoped the work in detail.
Engineering team was able to integrate UpContent well and on time.
Emma/Adam did a great great job with market launch.
Customer feed back was great they were excited to find new content and the ease of use.
Based on customer feed back UpContent streams were tweaked.
only issue was UpContent articles needed a view article button for the users to read the article.
