Customizable Built-in Automation and Functionality

Much of the value of NPSP is harnessed by tailoring the NPSP settings to best meet your organization’s needs, including automating the naming of Opportunities and standardizing the way constituents are addressed. There are also some built-in formula fields that will help you track donors and their giving history more effectively.

NPSP includes a number of Scheduled Jobs that provide data processing on a nightly basis, including calculating rollups, updating Recurring Donations and Seasonal Addresses, and performing error handling. You can also manually kick off these processes as needed.
