Flow has become the method of automation that Salesforce is developing and supporting for the future, replacing earlier tools of Workflow Rules and Process Builder. It enables the automation of complex tasks without the need for writing Apex code.
Below are examples of two record-triggered flows that I built for Florida Sight and Hearing Alliance use cases. The first flow will automatically send an email to the Primary Donor on an Opportunity to acknowledge the gift as soon as the Stage is saved as Closed Won.
This Flow will send email alert to the CEO when a gift of $1000 or more is received.
