Most Campaigns will involve dozens, hundreds, or thousands of Campaign Members, so it makes sense to add them in bulk. One way to do this is using a Report.
Although you would typically add Leads or Contacts to a Campaign in bulk, as demonstrated above, it’s also possible to add them one at a time, for instance if someone was inadvertantly omitted from a mailing list.
The guide below refers to Campaign Member Status, not to be confused with the “Status” field on the Campaign itself that indicates whether a Campaign is “planned,” “in progress,” “completed,” etc.
Every Campaign Member will have one and only one Campaign Member Status.
Note: for reporting purposes, it’s highly advisable to use the same Campaign Member Status values across campaigns.
