Plural Health (formerly PlateauMed) (“Plural”, “we”, “us”) operates the Plural patient application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected when you use the App.
The App is designed to help patients view health information that has been recorded by their healthcare providers, manage appointments, and receive communications related to their care.
The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who we are
Plural provides healthcare software to hospitals and clinics.
Your hospital or clinic is the Data Controller for your personal and health information.
Plural acts as a Data Processor, processing data only on the instructions of your healthcare provider.
2. What information we collect
We collect and process the following categories of information on behalf of your healthcare provider:

b) Health information (view-only)

All health information displayed in the App is entered by licensed healthcare professionals during (or in relation to) your clinical interaction with your healthcare provider. Plural does not provide any clinical information or edit information provided by your clinician.
Patients cannot edit, modify, or add clinical information.
3. How the App uses your information

Display your medical records as recorded by your healthcare provider Show upcoming and past appointments Notify you about appointments or care-related updates Enable secure communication initiated by your healthcare provider Support healthcare operations and service delivery The App does not:
Diagnose medical conditions Suggest medication changes Replace consultation with a healthcare professional 4. Legal basis for processing data
