How we helped a digital marketing agency to build their workflows when transitioning to becoming a remote-first company
The Customer
VROOM Digital is a Dublin-based digital marketing agency specializing in services like SEO, PPC advertising, and content marketing. They help businesses enhance their online presence and achieve growth through tailored digital strategies.
The Problem
Like many businesses, VROOM Digital moved to becoming a remote business after Covid-19 disrupted how they used to operate. However, VROOM needed to build out the operational infrastructure to support working as a distributed team rather than in an office.
The Solution
After evaluating a number of online tools for agencies, no suitable software could be identified that provided the exact set of tools that VROOM wanted in order to be able to manage their business.
Coda had the flexibility to be able to construct the necessary docs that allowed the team to collaborate effectively for their clients.
Task Management
A dedicated Task Management tool was built using Coda to help keep track of what work was getting done across the entire client list to ensure that each Client was receiving the correct level of service and support. This ensured better understanding of where time was being spent by the teams.
This enabled VROOM management to better understand where actual time spend on clients deviated from planned time. Agency work is typically chaotic and easy to lose track of time, and the Coda solution helped to get better insights into their teams.
Collaboration
Having a central place to manage their data, meeting notes, and track work meant that cross-functional teams across SEO, Paid Advertising, and Social Media could more easily collaborate on the work that needed to be done for their shared client.
