Executive assistant (founding hire)


I’m an exited founder planning to launch a new business in 2026. I’m currently diving into several exciting opportunities and I’m looking for an EA to help accelerate that journey. This is an incredibly early stage hire - you’ll be the first person to join me in this mission.

About the Role ✍️

As this is such an early stage role I expect it will evolve rapidly over time. Initially I’ll need help setting up meetings and conducting research. Later on as the business model evolves there will be scope to grow into several different directions. Its a great opportunity to participate in building the foundations of a new business.
Initial requirements include:
Research key stakeholders and sectors, preparing concise briefing notes and supporting outreach and meeting coordination
Set up and improve tools, workflows, and basic operating systems; turn unstructured information into clear, documented processes
Provide day-to-day founder support including inbox, calendar, general admin, and light finance tasks (expenses, basic bookkeeping)
Handle occasional personal admin to reduce founder cognitive load

About you 🤝

Experience: Proven track record as an EA/PA, ideally in a startup or fast-moving environment ​Exceptional communication: Fluent English (written and spoken) with the ability to adapt to the founder’s tone and style ​Highly organised: Able to juggle multiple priorities with minimal oversight ​Tech-savvy: Quick to learn tools like Front, Coda, and Google Suite ​Problem solver: Spots challenges before they arise and takes action ​Trustworthy & adaptable: Can handle confidential information and adjust to shifting priorities

Practical details ✅

I work UK hours and I’m ideally looking for responsiveness until 15:00 UK time, 20:30 India time, but the vast majority of work can be done asynchronously whenever suits you.
The ideal scenario would be a candidate who is able to start on a part time basis with the option to expand to full time later in the year.
I work on google suite, coda and slack.
Engagement can be either via invoice as a contractor or through an employer of record.
