Hi, am I speaking to (name), Hi (name), it’s NAME calling from Metanoia. I am calling regarding your CV that was matched with some of our current openings, do you have a few minutes to speak?

Okay perfect, what sort of vacancies have you been applying for recently? Was it ideally full-time hours you were wanting? I know it’s always a bit awkward talking about money, but do you have a specific amount you are looking for? …no problem, let me make a note of that on your file. How easy will it be to commute to Oxford Road station daily?

Okay, and this is just for legal reasons can I confirm you are over the age of 18?

Right, now all of that is out the way! What we are doing at the moment, due to the whole Covid situation, is inviting a small number of selected candidates onto a Zoom call with us so that we can run through our openings, the training we offer and the packages that go with the vacancies. I will only need you for about 30 minutes, the only problem is that most appointments have been taken already and I would love to put you forward. I know it’s incredibly last minute, but I need to get you squeezed in tomorrow, what time is going to work best for you X or X?

That’s great, now I don’t need you to do any preparation at all, this is a two way start to the interviewing process as it gives us chance to get to know you and it gives you the opportunity to see which position will work best for you.

What I will do is send over a quick confirmation email over now with all of the details on including the Zoom link, but as I mentioned, you don’t need to prep anything so it’s all going to be nice and easy!
