Welcome to the Assets section of the Collective Framework Agreement. This section is dedicated to capturing a comprehensive list of the tangible and intangible assets your collective owns or controls.

Purpose: This section provides transparency regarding the collective’s resources, ensuring that all members have a clear understanding of the assets available for supporting the collective's mission and initiatives.

What to Include

List of Assets: Assets are valuable resources owned or controlled by your collective that contribute to its overall value and success. Document all physical, intellectual, and financial resources available to your collective, including equipment, property, intellectual property, and other assets.

Categories of Assets

Physical Assets

Equipment: Machinery, tools, technology hardware.

Property: Real estate, land, buildings.

Inventory: Goods and materials in stock.

Intellectual Assets

Intellectual Property: Patents, trademarks, copyrights.

Proprietary Knowledge: Trade secrets, research and development results.

Digital Assets: Software, databases, digital content.

Financial Assets

Cash and Cash Equivalents: Bank balances, short-term investments.

Investments: Stocks, bonds, mutual funds.

Receivables: Accounts receivable, outstanding invoices.

Other Assets

Contracts and Agreements: Licensing agreements, partnership contracts.

Licenses and Permits: Business licenses, operational permits.

Brand and Reputation: Brand equity, customer loyalty.

Documentation: For each asset, include the following details:

Asset Description: A brief overview of the asset.

Value: Estimated or recorded value.

Location: Where the asset is stored or used.

Ownership: Details on ownership or control.

Date Acquired: When the asset was acquired or created.

Condition: Current state of the asset (e.g., new, used, needs repair).

Management:

Asset Management Plan: Outline how assets will be maintained, monitored, and utilized.

Periodic Review: Schedule for regular reviews and updates of the asset list.
