Sync Tables

Sync Tables Pro is an evolution of Cross-doc. Made by Paul the legendary Coda Maker who worked with dozens of clients and felt the need for this pack hundreds of times.

The pack works a lot like Cross-doc but also comes with essential improvements:

❇️ You can replace the source of any sync table even after it's loaded.
This way if your most important doc breaks, you won’t have to rebuild your whole system that depended on it.

❇️ You can control who gets to see which parts of a table without creating lots of filtered views.
All you need is a single view and a column with row-specific access rules.

❇️ You can import views from different docs and all connections will still click.
Some manual setup may be required for now.

❇️ You can refresh individual rows — no need to wait for the whole table to sync.

This already opens up such possibilities as:
• Easily making hub-and-spokes doc systems, e.g. a Teacher’s doc and each Student’s individual doc.
• Making multi-doc templates that you can share or sell.
• Building complicated systems of many interconnected docs without the fear of losing it all because one doc could break.

Roadmap for the next features:
• Merge tables — Combine data from multiple sources into a single sync table.
• Actions — Add, edit, and delete row(s) with row-level permission rules.
• Table mirroring — A way to sync two or more tables that are editable on both sides.
