Cohere is a member-owned network of co-working, co-living facilities designed to foster collaboration between our members, who are comprised of changemakers, cultural creatives and impact entrepreneurs creating meaningful change in the world.

We distribute ownership of Cohere through a participatory economic model that functions within our network to reward members' engagement in key activities with greater shares of ownership in the company.

Within the global context, we firmly believe the new gold is food, water, resilient shelter and supportive community.

Tokens & DAO

The basic concept is simple: the more the token appreciates in value - through investments of capital, land, and energy - the greater incentive there is for members to positively contribute to the network, since they now have a vested interest.

By realigning incentives toward creating a higher standard of living for everyone involved while creating a healthier relationship with the earth and each other.

Members earn $COHERE security tokens based on their level of participation within the network (i.e. investment, member dues, rent, labor, etc.)

By becoming a member of Cohere, you gain fractional ownership of the entire assets Cohere holds through the $COHERE token. All the buildings, permaculture farms, and community centers are now owned directly by the members themselves.

Tokens are backed by the value of real assets which provides stability and security, even in times of economic volatility.

These asset-backed $COHERE tokens appreciate in value as more tokens are issued — through capital or real estate investments, along with the aforementioned member activities.

A percentage of annual profits are allocated to buy back tokens from members, providing a structured exit in advance of a liquidity event.

The future of Cohere will be directed by the CohereDAO community, giving the members a direct say in guiding Cohere along its journey. CohereDAO will rely on cryptographic token-gated voting processes to ensure fair, effective, and transparent voting across our community.

Shared Ownership

As a member-owner of Cohere, you get paid to live your best life. Through our distributed ownership model, members earn tokenized securities of the company through their various forms of engagement. Tokenization allows these shares to become highly liquid, meaning they can be redeemed at any point (after one year) for the currency of your choice. This innovative model allows members to travel freely between a network of communities while taking their equity with them, wherever they go.
