The main objectives of these tasks were to become familiar with the ArcGIS Pro tools for Georeferencing and creating Topologies! The most difficult learning curve by far was diving into the software and understanding how to better leverage it to create more compelling deliverables! As shown in Fig. 1, this covers the Georeferencing concept specifically over the Verdun Battlefield. Basically, what we did was take an old existing map scan and referenced it into real world coordinates. For Fig.2 this displays different topologies in this area like land, lakes, and aquatic vegetation. The learning curve for this assignment was definitely learning how to create the topology because the software is very specific and it took a little bit to get into that sort of mindset. Finally, Fig. 3 displays those rules that were utilized to create the topology in Fig. 2. Overall, this was a really good opportunity to further become well versed within ArcGIS Pro and continue to hone our skills for future career opportunities!
