Communication Tip Tuesday

T.H.I.N.K
**This message is sent to all Oneida Staff. **
Hello Oneida Team!
This week for our Communication Tip Tuesday we’re going to go over the T.H.I.N.K strategy and highlight how important it is in our day to day communications.
Before you send out any communications, in e-mail, by text, in person, etc., remember to T.H.I.N.K.:
T: Is it True?
H: Is it Helpful?
I: Is it Inspiring?
N: Is it Necessary?
K: Is it Kind?
Another thing to take into consideration is the “Facts vs. Stories” method:
Facts are things that actually happened— can be proven, agreed upon, or otherwise factually accurate.
Stories are your interpretation of those facts — embellishments, excardinations.
We all create stories from facts, but it's important to separate the two. Before acting on your stories, make sure to verify them to avoid misunderstandings and ensure accurate communication.
