Communication Tip Tuesday

Composing E-mails
**This message is sent to all Oneida Staff. **

Welcome to another edition of Communication Tip Tuesday!

This week, we're diving into the world of email formatting. Emails are such a crucial part of our daily communication, and getting the format right can make all the difference in how our messages are received.
Greeting: Start with a friendly "Hi [Name]," “Shekoli [Name]”, “Good morning/afternoon”, etc.
Body: Keep it simple, friendly and to the point. Check for grammar and spelling errors. It’s always a good idea to read what you wrote before sending to help minimize mistakes and miscommunication.
Closing: End with a friendly note and a prompt for action:
"Thanks for your help!"
"Looking forward to your thoughts."
"Let me know if you need anything else."
Signature: Ensure your staff signature is set up. If you haven’t already, check out
to see a previous Communication Tips Tuesday on how to get yours updated.
