FEEDBACK
Positive
What I like...
Similar page & sub-page system as Notion. Easy to organize.
Similar block system as Notion. Easy to move items around. Lots of different stylization you can do.
Comments system and general multi-person use seems okay, would need to test more.
Blocks / items with comment threads show an icon on the right side of the screen when you scroll to them.
Different kinds of separators
Different ways to link other sites
Dark mode!
Can integrate with:
Figma
Google Docs
Important information related functionality that’s available
Table of contents that moves with you as you scroll
Able to link to sections in other pages & subpages
Kanban boards
Collapsible headings
‘Reaction’ to specific stuff

. Can see who reacted.

Negatives
Mostly nitpicks really... aside from some personal preferences from using Notion for so long, Coda seems pretty solid.
Cannot select multiple blocks to move/edit (biggest gripe)
Only ‘Standard’ and ‘Serif’ fonts. Missing ‘Mono’ font which was my favorite in Notion.
Cannot put separators in between collapsible headings. The first one will ‘eat’ it.
Why are call-outs included in the table of contents? They are considered a small / tier 3 heading.
Tables & Boards are also included in the table of contents. Sometimes this would be nice, but there is no option to exclude them.
You can only highlight text with color, not color the whole block.
Slight UX issue with comments section for tables
Encountered upload limits (probably need to pay to unlock)
Pro plan allows for custom URLs
General Observations
Not sure if good or bad. Just some things I’ve noticed.
Also like Notion, you’re able to use AI to help you write stuff. I’ve never used it before.
Sub-page order in page hierarchy (left-hand panel) is independent of sub-page order in main page.
Only 3 tiers of heading
You can toggle the option to view a list of page’s sub-pages at the very top.

I WISH I ACTUALLY MADE THIS BACK WHEN I MADE THE RETROSPECTIVE!!!!!!!!!! ^^^^^
Ideally all ‘name’ items would link to the appropriate section.
