Resending SME Setup Account Link: A Step-by-Step Guide

In this section, we'll walk you through the steps to resend the account setup link to SME users in Dunsguide, allowing them to initiate the onboarding process. While an email with the link is automatically sent when the Sales team closes a won opportunity in Salesforce, there may be instances where users miss the email. In such cases, you can manually send the link by following these steps:

Prerequisites:

Knowledge of the user's tax ID, subscriber number, company name, or user email
Corresponding Salesforce opportunity (opp) for comparison

Steps to Resend the SME Setup Account Link:

Log in to Powerapps with your MS credentials.
Search for the Case:
Use one of the following identifiers to search for the case:
Tax ID
Subscriber Number
Company Name
User Email
Identify the Corresponding Case: Compare the details of the search results with the Salesforce opportunity (opp) to ensure you've found the correct case. Once you've identified the correct case, open its details.
Navigate to the OnboardingCompleted Section: Find the Account Setup Link, scrolling through the case details until you locate the "OnboardingCompleted" section.
Copy the Account Setup Link: Within the "OnboardingCompleted" section, you will find the account setup link. Copy it to your clipboard.
Send the Link to the User: Paste the copied link and send it to the SME user through their preferred communication channel. Ensure that you send it to the email address linked to the case to avoid any confusion in the process.

Important Notes:

Always exercise caution and verify the user's identity before sharing the account setup link.
The link should only be shared with the email address associated with the case to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
If the case does not appear in the Powerapps application, double-check that the Salesforce opportunity has been set up correctly (). If the issue persists, open a ticket in Jira for the Product team to investigate and address.
