Bookwire Manuscript Prep Requirements

Bookwire requires the following:
To begin the process:
Submit an unfinished text version of the manuscript.
At least one week before production begins:
Confirm the offer to produce the selected book.
Submit a finalized manuscript.
Submit a supplemental PDF/link to supplemental link with access to all relevant data removed from the manuscript. This may include images, graphs, charts, relevant notes, discussion questions, source information, author information, IVP information, etc.
Submit a pronunciation guide.
A list of unknown or foreign words with the correct pronunciation and a reference of where these words are located in the text. This list can be a text document or mp3 file. You could easily upload both in the OS system.
Submit additional product information:
All information requested via the OS system (ex.: ISBN).
Instructions for the Intro or Outro narrations.
In the “additional information” field, we can offer additional advice for studios and narrators (like how the narrator should handle bible references throughout the manuscript).

Note: A finalized manuscript is a text-only document that includes only the text segments that should be read by the narrator. There should be no graphs, charts, images, etc. included. If we delete any images or graphs, we must ensure that there is no reference to them in the text.
Narrators avoid using manuscripts that include notes or highlights as they prefer to read from a clean text document that they can use for their own preparations.
