In terms of leadership structure, the network diagram below captures what we’ve been able to determineto date (8/28/22):



Finances

Their finances are also obscure, with there being a WisRed PAC as well as funding more closely embedded within the RPWC. Based on an analysis of campaign finance reports of contributions to WisRed in 2021 we can see that Gerald Couri (CEO, Couri Insurance) provided the lion’s share of contributions. Note that Couri’s spouse, Judie, is , the stealth campaign founded by Rebecca Kleefisch and where Republican Gubernatorial candidate Tim Michels is also an “advisor”.
There is speculation that this is sort of a money laundering mechanism, as you can see funds go from wealthy contributors to GOP operatives (Terry Dittrich, via TWC Global and Michael Dean at ).

Pressing deeper into the WisRed/RPWC web site we find other organizations associated with the rightwing ecosystem looking to take control of local government. WILL and EmpowerWI are regulars. RFK, Jr's resources take us into the "Health Libertarian" world of anti-vaxxers.

Things get weird when we get to the only book recommended by WisRed and the RPWC: The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates by (Pastor) Matthew Trewhella.
