Step 1: Introduction and Greeting

Step 2: Confirm Candidate's Knowledge

Ask them about their understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Virtual Assistant.
Step 3: Skills & Experience Assessment
Inquire about the candidate's niche-specific skills relevant to the tasks they would handle as a VA.
Discuss their prior experience in VA, freelance, or digital work.
Evaluate their ability to manage time and tasks efficiently, including any relevant examples.
Assess their ability to handle difficult clients or customers and ask for examples of such experiences.
Step 4: Technical Proficiencies
Discuss the candidate's technical proficiencies:
Confirm if they have backup power and internet to ensure uninterrupted work.
Verify their familiarity with tools such as Google Suite, Google Calendar, Asana, Slack, and ChatGPT.
Ask if they have a portfolio or work samples to showcase their skills.

Confirm whether they can work within the desired time zone (PST or EST).
Assess their time management skills and their plans to upskill if necessary.
Evaluate their proficiency in speaking English.
