Team topology: 6 “first principles for product leaders”
Afonso Franco
Note by Patrizia Bertini
Designing teams is both challenging and rewarding for any practitioner. It involves identifying how teams are organised, defining each team's unique contribution, and understanding how to maximise the impact of each team's contribution. Yet identifying and categorising how , Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams operate both internally and cross-functionally can be difficult. This is where the Team Topologies becomes a great approach to understand teams' archetypical structures and operational models. "Team Topologies" by Skelton & Paiswith, is a book that defines four team types three interaction modes per team.
