Candidate journey in Team Tailor

Pointer handles all applications through .
The candidate journey begins once their applications have been sent from our LinkedIn job ads or the to our Team Tailor Inbox. ​

During this stage, we initiate our first touch by calling the candidate to have a quick chat about the high levels of the role, after which we move them into the Requesting Videos stage. ​

This stage will trigger an email to be sent to the candidate instructing them to complete a series of video steps to complete in order for us to move their application forward.
This stage also triggers a 5-email Pointer Nurture Campaign for the candidate.

The candidate is given 3 working days to accomplish the video steps. Should we not receive a response from them within that period, the candidate card will be tagged as overdue, during which we should move them to the Second Request stage, which triggers another email reminding them to complete the video steps. ​

Once the candidate has completed the video steps, their candidate card gets moved over to the Reviewing Videos stage.

The videos are then reviewed to determine which candidate will make it on to the Screening Interview. The questions may vary depending on the role, but the video responses sent by the candidate should be able to provide more context to their application than what’s on their resume.

SHOULD THE CANDIDATES BE SELECTED FOR SCREENING, their corresponding candidate card will be sent to the Screening Interview Stage which will trigger a calendar invite to be sent to them. ​

The Screening Interview is scheduled for 15 minutes and conducted via Google Meets.
Once a candidate passes the interview, their application will then be Floated over to the clients for assessment.
