How do I join?
To qualify for induction into the thespian society, you must earn and record at least 10 thespian points Once you have logged your 10 points, you must submit your completed log to Mrs. Coleman for review in the Blackbox office. With your form, you will need to submit the one-time $35 induction fee, using this , through cash or check in the lockbox located just inside the Blackbox doors, or directly to Mrs. Coleman in the Blackbox office. Is there an age limit?
No, anyone who is currently enrolled in Campbell and has completed 10 points worth of thespian activities since 8th grade can qualify for induction. Why should I get inducted?
Only inducted thespians can go to ThesCon! Being inducted and tracking your points gives you the opportunity to receive honor ranks! You may be able to receive recognition with tassels, stoles, medals, and/or pins at graduation! Being inducted means you are officially part of the thespian society, which shows your commitment to the theater! This is super cool and gives you bragging rights but also looks great as a resume booster for college applications and auditions. You get to be an official member of Troup 5324, get a fancy membership card, certificate, and induction pin, and can purchase the troupe sweatshirt! You become eligible for student leadership opportunities at the troupe, state, and national levels that provide forums to learn and put their leadership skills to work! What happens when I get inducted?
At the end-of-year banquet, all new inductees for the year will be recognized with a certificate and, if purchased, their thespian hoodie. All inducted thespians will also be officially enrolled in the thespian society digitally, meaning you will have your own thespian profile (though this is more used for directors and thespian administration).
