Support Developer (Backend & Mobile)

About Us We’re a small but fast-moving app studio building cross-platform mobile apps and backend systems for consumers. As the sole developer, I handle the core development and architecture, but I’m looking for a Support Developer to help accelerate delivery, improve quality, and keep projects running smoothly.

Role Overview As a Support Developer, you’ll work directly with me across backend and mobile development. You’ll handle feature implementation, bug fixing, and testing, while also contributing to system stability and performance. The role is hands-on, varied, and perfect for someone who wants to grow quickly in both mobile and backend development.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the lead developer (me) on mobile and backend features

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code (backend + mobile)

Fix bugs, improve app stability, and support QA efforts

Assist with API integrations, database queries, and optimization

Implement UI components and support mobile app feature delivery

Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements

Maintain documentation for features and fixes

Provide ongoing support across projects (backend + mobile apps)

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in software development (internship/freelance/production)

Knowledge of mobile app development (Flutter or React Native preferred)

Basic to intermediate backend experience (Node.js/NestJS, or similar frameworks)

Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, etc.)

Understanding of REST APIs and JSON

Version control experience (Git/GitHub/GitLab)

Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Willingness to learn and work across the stack

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to follow guidance while taking initiative

Nice-to-Have Skills

Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Firebase)

Experience with TypeScript

Basic UI/UX implementation skills

Knowledge of authentication flows (OAuth, Firebase Auth, etc.)
