Powerful Practices

Stop criticizing others...even in your mind.
Wake up before sun!
Replace one meal a day with a healthier choice.
Instead of pizza from Papa John’s one night choose to make your own homemade pizza or opt for a cauliflower crust pizza!
^ But if you want/need the Papa John’s pizza, eat the Papa John’s pizza. Feed your body. Let’s detach ourselves from “good” and “bad” food ideas and disordered eating.
Drink water frequently throughout the day- Hydration is key!
One hour of no screen time before bed.
Exercise
Mindfulness, active listening.
“Cancel culture is the result of a generation that has lost the powerful practice of forgiveness.”
Make your bed every morning. It will give you a sense of accomplishment since you have accomplished the first task of the day. It will also automatically create a sense of organization and allow you to become naturally organized in other areas of your life.
How to make this a habit? Make it attractive, easy, obvious and satisfying. Same goes for stopping a negative habit. Make it unattractive, unsatisfying, invisible and difficult. An example: If you want to drink more water. Put cups of water in different areas of your life. Keep one at your work desk, one at your bedside, one on the counter etc. Add lemon to make it satisfying.
