Organizing refers to a way of bringing people together for social change, and can be in reference to long term campaigns or more short term/one off events like rallies and protests etc. Digital organizing, then, is when new media (the internet in particular) is used to bring people together around issues of injustice that need to change. An example that comes to mind is virtual meetings of the Freedom Church of the Poor, the Poor Peoples’ Campaign, etc
