Be accepting of others and listen to their experiences. Practice active listening.

Don’t be on your phone while others are talking.

Be an active participant in class functions.

Don’t shy away from controversial topics, but express yourself respectfully and in a way that keeps this space safe and academic.

Make others feel comfortable.

Address disagreements privately and respectfully with mediation

Community forum at some point in class (share the good news, current favorite thing, the takeaway from class, the question of the day)
