Risk of an expanding human population
Human extension is a typical and repeating subject throughout the entire existence of Earth, as people try to grow their space.
Since a single individual can have a significant impact on the natural world, population growth poses a clear risk, even if it is not necessarily cause for concern: deforestation, excessive consumption, and overpopulation.
The changing climate poses a threat to human expansion, which has numerous repercussions. The clearest is that our planet has been pushed into a condition of natural emergency.
Droughts, rising sea levels, and global warming are all consequences of this. Additionally, there are concerns regarding acid rain and water pollution.
Due to the fact that the amount of energy required to power this many people would accelerate widespread deforestation, global warming, and resource depletion, a global population of 7 billion people poses another significant risk factor for climate change.
