We should aim for more applications for funding in 2026 than in 2025.
For this, it could be good to have a strategy.
2025-11-26
Sida has encoraged ISP to apply for funding from Norad.
One way would be to respond to the next Norhed call.
Another way would be to ask for a meeting to present the Nordic activities in mathematics in Eastern Africa the last 30+ years as well as ISP. We could use Guttorm’s at Norad and ISP’s connections with Sida.

See this letter from Sean Rowlands, The Guild. The CoRE Annual Report Survey should be submitted online by July 31, 2025. All material is available in Dropbox.

MDU
Mälardalen University, Sweden, has expressed interest in becoming associated with CoRE-Math. How should we proceed?
Discussion: We should be a bit careful with expanding so CoRE-Math doesn’t become too large too fast. We also have to make a strategic expansion of the cluster, bringing in universities from, e.g., France, Italy, and the UK. We could arrange an event when the fellows arrive and invite people from Sweden. Should we consider associate members?
2025-06-12
