CoRE-Math is an Africa–Europe research and doctoral training network in mathematics, connecting leading departments to build sustainable research environments and high-level doctoral training.
Brief History
Built on 20+ years of ISP-supported regional programmes (EAUMP, AAU) and Nordic partnerships (Finland, Norway, Sweden), training hundreds of MSc and PhD students and strengthening mathematics departments across Africa.
Establishment of CoRE-Math
Recognised by ARUA and The Guild as an Africa–Europe Cluster of Research Excellence (2024).
