💡Learnings

We need more time between closing the application and choosing approvals
publicize more, and ask our community advertise too
Emphasis on the commitment needed to be in the program
we need to have the workshop dates defined beforehand

maybe the time scheduled for workshops isn't good
not enough have feedback survey and be open to talk

Do differently

Applications

Mentees: questions and answers instead of a cover letter (some past letters seemed to provide irrelevant information)
Focus on getting the info we need to create good mentor/mentee matches
Creating matchings that we are not so sure about about (happened in 2 cases in S2)

Kick-off

Provide clear expectations for mentor/mentee meetings (frequency, topic ideas)
Onboarding workshop should be provides by an external mentoring expert / trainer

Activities

Do not have the sessions/workshops defined beforehand
Industry-specific informal networking
Recording workshops (for people who are not able to attend live)

Follow up

Estabilish close relationship with the pairs
Better information sharing with mentors directly about what the mentees are covering with their workshops (ex. suggested follow-up topics)

Make a follow-up after few months after the end of the program
