Adding a General Accounting Unit

A general accounting unit (GAU) is a way to designate funds for a specific use such as restrictions set by a donor or grant. For example, you may have a GAU for gifts to a particular program or for a restricted-use grant. Follow the steps below to add a GAU.

Splitting an Allocation
